The Regional Centre for Yorkshire and the Humber is based in the Language Learning Centre, Department of Modern Languages, at the University of Hull. The Language Learning Centre (LLC), situated on the 1st floor of the Ferens Building, has recently been refurbished and provides a focus for language self-study and language services on the campus, promoting languages for non-specialists as well as supporting and enhancing the work of language specialists.

The LLC comprises computing facilities, break out rooms, a free wifi zone and a large meeting room that can be booked for Links training events and meetings. We have resources available for Primary and Secondary language teaching and are working with a wide range of publishers to increase and update these on a regular basis.

Opening times

(these currently apply during university semester time only)

Monday - Thursday 9:00am - 9:00pm
Friday 9:00am - 4:00pm
Saturday 11:00am - 3:00pm
