What's happening locally?
Welcome to the Links into Languages South West Regional Centre website
We are pleased to offer a range of professional development courses for primary and secondary language professionals which are available to view or book in the events section of our website. We also provide information about local external events and all the latest national and regional news on language teaching. From September 2010, look out for a range of information and resources to support your teaching and professional development. Simply sign up to our mailing list so we can keep you up to date – you can download our previous newsletters at the foot of this page.
LinkedUp Award Scheme:
This scheme provides funding for projects carried out by groups of language teachers and other partners working in primary, secondary or 16-19 education in England. We hold regular briefings on how to apply for funding (see events) or you can download further information from the LinkedUp area of this website.

Visit our centre
Our team is based at the Links into Languages regional centre for the South West at Bath Spa University. You can find us at the Culverhay Campus on Rush Hill, Bath (marked as CV on this the map).
Here we have classrooms where we run our Links into Languages courses and events. You can book our rooms free of charge for your own meetings or courses. You can also access a 'drop in' area where we make a wide range of Primary and Secondary Language resources available.
We also have a network of Links local centres where we run a number of our CPD courses, offering a meeting space for teachers to get together, and access to the latest resources and information on language teaching.
