Languages and ICT expert Joe Dale will be giving a presentation at the BETT Show next Friday 15th January to preview a new free online language learning resource – MYLO (My Languages Online). MYLO is a government funded project that encourages young learners (initially Key Stage 3) to learn languages through a wide range of online activities, such as designing an international football kit or producing a TV advert. Teachers are being encouraged to sign up to the resource, which will be launched in spring with initial content, by visiting the site www.hellomylo.com
Joe will be previewing some of the material at BETT on Friday, so it’s a great opportunity to come and find out what MYLO is all about, and how it can be used in the classroom. BETT is held at Olympia, London, and the seminar will be at 5pm. You can sign up here
