Key milestone for the Diploma in Languages and International Communication

The Diploma in Languages and International Communication is an exciting new qualification for students aged 14 to 19, due to be launched in schools and colleges from 2011. It will give students an insight into languages, culture and the wider world. Following research and consultation with a wide range of stakeholders, a final Line of Learning Statement (a description of the learning content) and final Line of Learning Criteria (which are used by Awarding Bodies to develop qualification specifications) were approved and published on 31 July.
