Deadlines and timescales

What are the deadlines for applications?

Links into Languages: LinkedUp

The last deadline was  21st June 2010 and at present no further projects can be considered.  If you would like us to alert you if another opportunity arises, please send us an Expression of Interest form.

Applicants are encouraged to get in touch with us to discuss their ideas before submitting their application. They are notified of  the outcome of the application within 4 weeks of the deadline, and may start work on the project as soon as it has been approved.  Successful applicants are invited to a briefing meeting where they can meet other project leaders and find out more about leading a LinkedUp project.

How long do projects last?

The table below shows the time frame for each project, based on the different application deadlines. Taking account of holidays and the start of the new academic year, the time for projects to complete their work is similar whichever deadline is chosen.

Project leaders are asked to send a report at the end of each phase, and receive more detailed information about planning and management when their application is approved.
