A beginners’ guide to using blogs and wikis in MFL Teaching. This will help you get started on the (slightly addictive) route to setting up a blog. In the 90 minute session we will cover:
• What is a blog or a wiki?
• Why use blogs in education?
• Some useful blogs and wikis
• How to set up a blog or wiki
• Now I’ve got my blog how can I use it?
If there is time at the end there will be a “hands on” session, giving participants the opportunity to explore some of the resources discussed and maybe even start their own blog!
This twilight session is from 4.00 pm - 5.30 pm.
Helena Butterfield is International Schools Co-ordinator and MFL teacher at Ian Ramsey C of E Specialist Language College in Stockton-on-Tees.
