Summary

This course is important for all sixth form tutors, teachers, and course leaders. This course is divided into two modules. The first module explores the impact of the new A level, and will provide advice and toolkits for teaching to mixed audiences. The second module will cover alternatives to A level and other options for students.

Trainer

Name: Kay Ray

This course will be delivered by Kay Ray. Kay spent 15 years teaching and leading modern languages in secondary schools in Yorkshire. She has been a teaching and learning consultant for East Riding local authority for the last 4 years, during which time she has worked extensively with language teachers, both primary and secondary and delivered numerous Continuing Professional Development sessions and courses.
 

Cost

  • In order to cover our direct costs, e.g. catering and guest speaker expenses, we charge £50 to attend this event.
  • Refreshments will be provided.
  • Each participant will receive a USB stick containing all the course materials including PowerPoints and a variety of resources which can be used to disseminate training to colleagues.
