We offered a wide range of continuing professional development courses
Date: November 3, 2010 - November 10, 2010
Location: This course is based on a blended learning model
Event type: Course over multiple days
Want to improve your French or Spanish for the primary classroom? Take this opportunity to study at your convenience at home or at school and get up to speed with your language skills. If you have a rusty A level or GCSE, this course will help you to feel more confident with your language skills and give you new take-away ideas for your classroom.
In close alignment with the recently published Upskilling Specifications, The Univeristy of Worcester offers tailor-made courses for primary school teachers who want to improve their modern foreign language skills. Courses can consist of a blend of face-to-face and online teaching, or can take part entirely online, allowing participants living in more remote locations to join.
Depending on the level of interest, we will organise 2-3 pilot groups, supported by Links into Languages. The face-to-face meetings will take place at a location close to you, and the online learning is tailored to your schedule. This course covers the first theme of the specification "meeting others", and consists of 2-3 face-to-face meetings, online meetings and home work to cover 30 learning hours.
