Summary

In conjunction with the Association for the Study of Modern and Contemporary France (ASMCF) and Nottingham Trent University, Links into Languages East Midlands is offering a number of bursaries to attend the ASMCF's 2010 conference to be held at Nottingham Trent University over September 9th to 11th. 

The bursary covers the costs of attendance at each of the three days of the conference, refreshments, lunches, dinners and accommodation.

The aim of the ASMCF is to advance and develop research and education concerning modern and contemporary France in the United Kingdom.  Attendance at the conference is a unique opportunity for teachers to engage with a variety of sessions to support their teaching of A Level.  Bursaries are available on a strictly first come first served basis.  To be eligible for a bursary:

  • You must be a teacher teaching languages in a state secondary school in the East Midlands.
  • You must be registered with Links into Languages.
  • You will be happy to offer feedback on the event and the impact it has had on your professional development and practice within the classroom.
