Summary
Story Making: A Creative and Enjoyable Approach for Language Learners in the Primary School.
A TWO day course for Primary Teachers; the second date is Friday 2 July 2010.
Story Making complements the KS2 Framework for Languages (DCSF). Many references to the Framework can be made for every age and stage including:

Y3 Oracy: Join in with storytelling. Speak confidently and clearly. Use physical response, mime and gesture to convey meaning and understanding.

Y4 Intercultural Understanding: Compare traditional stories — compare characteristics of simple stories between cultures.

Y5 Oracy: Focus on correct pronunciation and intonation — use tone of voice and gesture to help convey meaning

Y6 Language learning strategies: Compare and reflect on techniques for memorising language.

Cost
The cost for each participant will be £210 (+VAT).
This will include:
- two full day Story Making workshops
