We offer a wide range of continuing professional development courses
The Links Regional Centres offer a high quality, coherent and accessible professional development programme for all the people who work in the world of languages. We offer hundreds of courses across England. Use the event finder (see above) to narrow down your search.
The Links Professional Development Programme is a common core of courses designed to address shared national priorities, and a further programme tailored to meet regional and local needs. The courses will be delivered by a network of experience/d trainers in the field.
The core Links Professional Development Programme will address current issues for the languages community, such as strategic leadership for languages, upskilling for primary teachers, transition from Key stage 2 to Key stage 3, the new secondary curriculum and the new GCSE. The face-to-face courses will be supported by downloadable resources and online forums for sharing experience and good practice.
The courses will be available in the Links Regional Centres and Links Local Centres elsewhere in the region.
Links also provide information on a wide range of professional development activities run by other organisations to inform the language community of all the opportunities available to them nationally and in their region.
