Created in order to build on the success of the Links into Languages programme at the end of its period of central government funding, Network for Languages is an independent alliance of universities with outstanding reputations for their work in language learning.
Each centre is committed to:
- excellence in language learning and teaching from school through university and into the workplace
- building on the achievements of Links into Languages in championing language teaching and teachers, delivering resources and creating networking opportunities for language professionals.
The centres are regionally based and work through established links with schools, colleges and businesses in each region, collaborating across the country through the network to achieve nationwide provision. You can find out more about Network for Languages at www.networkforlanguages.org.uk.
